We always encourage ordering swatches first! That way you will have the best sense of color, weight, stretch and hand-feel. Whilst we do our best to describe the fabric, show its texture in videos and color match using Pantone, it is still worth ordering swatches for the following reasons:

1) We want you to be absolutely sure that it is the color you need! Color variations in monitor and mobile color display settings vary widely from device to device, so we can never guarantee that what you’re seeing is absolutely correct. Color may also vary depending on the setting in which the fabric is viewed as a result of different light sources, e.g. daylight, LED, fluorescent, etc.

2) You can compare your options - ordering several fabric samples at once allows you to make a meaningful comparison of several different types of material and work out whether or not it is suitable for the purpose that you intend to use it for.

3) Knowing exactly what you are ordering - this will save you money and time! By offering you 20* free swatches a month, we want to help you find what you need. If you still can’t find what you are looking for, try our fabric matching service.
